New year - new job
Every beginning is an opportunity to change, learn and evolve. A new year beginning means a clean slate and a little shaky life crises. What did you do in the entire past year that you really enjoyed? What did impact you most in a positive way and you want to keep doing. Make a list of your top 5 Do‘s and Don’t‘s based on the last year and if one of them is “stop doing a job I don‘t like”, then read my new year-new-job- guide to help you shift to a new role:
1. How happy am I with my job from 1 to 10? If the result is 7+ you are at a spot of satisfaction. Keep the good spirit and the good work up.
2. 6 and below means that you could do better! Time to update your LinkedIn profile and activate your network
3. Analyze what you really love doing and what makes you feel inspired, impactful and irresistible as a talent. I call these the three “I-secrets” of a top talent.
4. Find your inspiration: for some is product, for others culture or the leaders they work with. Don‘t focus on the job content only.
5. Find how you can be impactful and what environment makes you bring out the best of you.
6. Define your superpowers following inspiration and impact as their base.
Your I-secrets are the first stop on the way to your new job this year! Good luck defining them and turning them into reality when you land your dream job.
